“I’m here to empower caregivers, giving them the tools to support their children and teens through life’s bumps, stressors, and tragedies. Together we can give them the tools to process and find healing.”

Jessica has a passion for supporting children going through difficult life experiences. This passion was amplified after she and her family (pictured here) personally went through several miscarriages and the stillbirth of their little girl, Maggie. Jessica has supported families going through a large variety of losses related to death, life-changing events, and new diagnoses.
Since 2018, Jessica has been heavily involved in supporting her local grief community. She assisted with raising over $240,000 for a local pregnancy and infant loss non-profit organization. Additionally, Jessica and her family have been fundraising money to create a respite room at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to allow families to have more time with their children who are dying/have died in a more relaxed, home-like environment.
Jessica runs several grief support groups including a bereaved sibling group, a general children’s grief group, and parent support groups for pregnancy and infant loss.
Hundreds of families have benefited from support from Jessica over the years during end-of-life grief situations and for ongoing grief support. She collaborates with and supports bereaved families throughout the United States and internationally.
Jessica is the author of The ABCs of Grief: Emotions & Feelings (March 2025), The ABCs of Grief (2024) and Forever Connected (2022), a book for bereaved siblings.
